The Old Town is an intriguing mix of old and new. You can wonder through the maze of white washed houses, through Orange square (the fountain therein built 1704) and along streets such as Calle del Peral and Calle Nueva. In this area you will find many significant buildings such as the Town Hall and the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings.

In the centre of the city you will find Parque de la Constiucion, a lush green park with a children's area and a small astronomic observatory. Here you will also find an auditorium (capacity 600 people), which hosts concerts and cultural events throughout the year.

There are numerous interesting museums to visit, two of which are Museo de Bonsai de Marbela, which is a bonsai museum recognised as one of the best in Europe, and Museo Ralli which holds an excellent selection such as works from Dalí, Maillot, Chagall, Max Ersnt, Miró, Henry Moore and André Mason.
